To most people Shanghai is a place where you can
see the future being made before your eyes, but scratch the surface and you soon discover it's about the past - of sex - in the city's renowned museum of rude curios. And should you tire of the 19th century dildos, there are plenty of other diversions ranging from vaccuum packed pigs' heads to TVs the size of boats and lots of really amusing sineage, all set against a beautiful backdrop of China's world famous smog. Take a ride to the top of the one of the city's tall buildings and you'll be rewarded by a view that stretches for metres.
