Little Uruguay is one of those countries that even the Americans can be forgiven for knowing nothing about. Indeed, it is chiefly celebrated for providing a home to the Marquessa, Hello magazine's "celebrity fixer" and as being somewhere you might go to shag a polo player. However, as these photos show, such prejudices are deeply unfair: it is a land of ambrosial meatiness and religous leather goods - with a bustling moustache themed nightlife.
