Journalism:
I write
about business, travel and lifestyle for publications including
the FT, GQ, the Sunday Telegraph and Management
Today. I also do some editorial consultancy and have worked
on new launches and business pitches.
Copywriting:
Everything from large strategy documents to advertising copy
and scripts for commercials. Clients have included Tesco, McDonald's
and KPMG.

2002 - February 2003: a year’s travel, including India,
Indonesia and South America. While away, I continued to do write,
including travel features for The Telegraph and The
Observer.
May 2001 - February 2002: freelance work for
publications including The Sunday Business, The Independent
and Business Voice.
2000 - May 2001: features editor, Business2.0.
Commissioning, editing and originating features throughout
the magazine, finding new writers and managing section budgets.
Also writing, rewriting and subbing features, profiles and shorter
pieces.
1998-2000: section Editor, Management Today.
Responsible for two sections of the magazine: the business zeitgeist
and the technology pages. Commissioning, editing and writing
for these (and other) areas of the magazine. Originating and
writing longer features. Writing headlines and captions.
1996 - 1998: staff writer, Management Today.
Writing features, columns and short pieces. Some editing and
commissioning.
1994 - 1995: editorial researcher, Management
Today. In theory, acting as an in-house researcher for the
editorial team and freelance writers; in practice mainly writing,
with the odd research request.
Other Experience:

Easyjet, The Sun).
Have written for dozens of publications as well as those above.
Have appeared on TV and radio as a business commentator.
